Judin Wire:

Judin wires are specially designed monofilaments to substitute the use of conventional steel cables and wire for farming, agriculture, vineyards, orchards, culture under cover, wind breakers, green houses ( shading and roofing), safe fences for animal husbandry, cover for dams and ponds, marine cultures and variety of other applications.

Judin wires are produce with Nylon and Polyester and the advantages they offer are listed below. One would choose between the 2 based on the area of usage. Most of the advantages these lines offer over the conventional metal cables are the same with a few significant differences making them the preferred choices for certain applications.

  • Judin wires are lighter than steel cables making handling much easier than steel cables resulting in a much easier and faster installation than steel cables.
  • Once the Judin wire is properly tensioned it requires no maintenance and does not sag further because of the low stretch factor of PET.
  • Judin wires are highly U.V and weather stabilized. The wire does not degrade from exposure to sunlight and requires no maintenance in even extreme weather conditions.
  •  One of the many advantages of the line is its stability against extreme temperatures which prevents melting and damage to the plastic film covering used in greenhouses to prevent frost damage to plants.
  • Judin wire does not rust and are non corrosive. The Judin wire exhibits good resistance to chemicals and fertilizers and hence lasts longer.
  • Judin wire does not damage plants, animals or the environment.
  • One of the other advantages of using this wire is that it does not conduct electricity or currents making it a safe alternative in case of lightening.
  •  PET Judin wire exhibits lower elongation and lower water, humidity or moisture absorption making it the preferred wire for many applications.

  • How to cut an awkward square shape from a tile using a combination of a diamond wheel tile cutting machine and a traditional tile cutter. Brought to you by http://www.ultimatehandyman.co.uk/

I used Stampin’ Ups “Lovely as a Tree” stamp set and the large evergreen tree for this project. If you are interested in purchasing this stamp set or any of the inks from Stampin Up and you don’t have a representative, Linda Bauwin, who was so encouraging to me when I approached her about this channel and has been a great mentor for me since would be glad to help you. Here is her email address. jlbauwin@roadrunner.com
Any large long stamp will work for this technique. Measure the length of your stamp and make sure it is no longer than 4″ and no wider than 1.5″. You will cut your paper in half on the 8 1/2″ length . Then take one of the half sheets on the 11″ length and cut in 2″ strips. Repeat with the other 1/2 sheet, You will end up with ten tags. If you have a tag punch, punch the tops of each tag. If you don’t, snip the corner off the top corner on an angle and then take the piece that you cut off and lay it on the other corner and using it as a template, snip the opposite corner. You will need something sharp to make a hole for your ribbon, thread, jute, or light weight wire. Before you thread your hole, you will ink and stamp your image onto the center of your tag. If possible, stamp all tags at once and then thread each tag by folding an 8-10″ piece of yarn, thread or whatever you chose, and take the center of the folded yarn and push it through the hole. If you have a problem getting it threaded, use your scissor tip or a pen to push it through. Once it is through the hole, take the other ends of your thread and pull them through the loop you’ve created and pull until tight. Stamp or write “To” and “From: on the back of the tags at the same time. Your tags are ready to go. I used Stampin Up Inks, Handsome Hunter, and Real Red that I made pearlized in another video. Here is the link to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJrymgnr1C4
I also used Versafine Onyx Black ink for the to and from sentiment on the back of the tags and on the tags with black trees. I used jute twine from the Dollar Tree and embroidery thread as well,.
